I am particularly proud to have joined “pro bono” a working group set up by ENAC – Ente Nazionale per l’Aviazione Civile (National Civil Aviation Authority), tasked with drawing up new Family Assistance regulations for Italy.
For several months, I had the pleasure of working with ENAC managers and executives and with representatives of the 8 October Committee, bringing to the table the experience I gained during the tragic Linate accident on 8 October 2001.
The new family assistance regulation issued by ENAC applies to all carriers registered in Italy and to Italian airport management companies. It will soon be accompanied by a “Guidelines and best practices” document also drawn up by the working group.
