New challenges in crisis management

What are the new challenges in crisis management? Why are crises more frequent, intense and last longer?

Inspired by Thierry Libaert‘s speech, I tried to push the reflection a step forward and attempted to answer these two questions during my opening remarks in a closed door seminar we recently organized in Milan.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Patrick Lagadec, researcher and world renowned crisis management expert who shared with us some of this thinking on the challenges companies face in the new decade.

The seminar called “Navigating the uncertain and stormy seas of crisis” is part of a cycle of yearly seminars called “sharing knowledge” we organize for top management in an effort to share experiences, reflections and best practice in crisis management.
