A few days ago, we participated in a four-hour partial simulation of the Family Assistance Plan developed by a major Italian airport operator.
From 11:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m., the TT&A Role Playing Team, led by Fabio Sbattella, was once again called into action to actively support the exercise. Our role was to create a highly realistic environment in which the Airport Contact Team — composed of the airport operator and representatives of ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) — could test procedures, coordination, and decision-making under pressure.
This marks the sixth field simulation involving our team and the third airport where we have deployed our innovative training methodology.
The simulation followed a structured preparation phase. In recent months, we delivered both a dedicated training session and a practical exercise for the operator’s Contact Team. These sessions enabled participants to build confidence and operational readiness in a context marked by intense emotional volatility — the kind generated by an aviation accident.
At TT&A Advisors, we believe realism, emotional fidelity, and structured rehearsal are essential to transforming procedures into real capability when it matters most.
